If you arent familiar with Central State Hospital in Indianapolis, Then first maybe I should offer some background on this place.

Central State Hospital or Asylum, was deemed the "hospital for the insane" by the Indiana state legislature, and opened its doors in November of 1848 and was finally closed down in 1999. The site consists of several buildings on a large plot of land on the west side of town.

One of my favorite bands to see in the city is playing tonight in Chicago. I would go check them out if you have the time.

Brutality comes to mind when I speak of this show. Take two of the finest doom/sludge/whateveryouwanttocallit bands in Indianapolis, and pair them with two equally superior bands from Louisiana, one of the meccas of this shit. Throw them in the basement of the Casa Del Kotex, and its quite simple. You will not be disappointed. I sure as hell wasn't.
